Dayton Aerospace is pleased to announce that Rear Admiral Randy Mahr, US Navy (Ret) has joined the company as an associate. Randy is a seasoned defense acquisition executive with over 30 years of engineering and management experience.
Prior to retirement from the US Navy, Randy was the deputy program executive officer (PEO) and deputy director for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO). In this role, he developed and implemented acquisition strategy and managed daily operations for the F-35 for three US military branches, eight international partner nations, and three foreign military sales (FMS) countries. Previous assignments include commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) and assistant commander for research and engineering at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).
