Captain Bill Kroncke, USN Reserves (Ret), has over 40 years of experience in financial management and government accounting along with 25 years active and reserve duty as a Navy Supply Corps officer. He held leadership roles in both traditional financial management and government accounting with first-hand experience dealing with implementation of and compliance with accounting rules and regulations associated with various types of government contracts.

  • Oversaw accounting and finance requirements as set forth by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) in a complex aircraft engine manufacturing, engineering, and service business with military and commercial customers.
  • Coordinated within a diverse set of business objectives amongt multiple business entities to achieve full compliance with regulations and satisfaction with on-site Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)/Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) auditors and contract specialists.
  • Guided teams successfully through suspected CAS and FAR cost principle non-compliance investigations.
  • Provided government accounting support to newly acquired GE Aviation businesses based in the United Kingdom (UK) and Italy holding both US Department of Defense (DOD) military contracts, as well as domestic Ministry of Defence (MoD) contracts. Worked with local professionals, ensuring the business could withstand compliance audits by DCAA, as well as local government authorities, as needed.
