Colonel Dan Sny, USAF (Ret), has over 30 years of Department of Defense (DOD) logistics, maintenance and acquisition experience with extensive leadership and team building skills. He is a proven senior leader as the former F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) director of autonomic logistics (i.e., product support manager) where he was responsible for the multi-billion-dollar sustainment program and leadership of a 700-person, joint service, multi-national and contractor integrated product team (IPT) accountable for the sustainment planning and implementation for the eight-nation, tri-variant, JSF weapon system. Through JSF sustainment planning, he’s been heavily involved in recent DOD efficiency initiatives and cost reduction efforts, including implementation of an information technology (IT) solution that integrates field to fleet-level maintenance, supply, transportation, deficiency reporting, and sustaining engineering data with business rules to increase air system reliability and decrease life cycle costs across the system enterprise. Colonel Sny has achieved the highest-level qualifications as acquisition logistician, program manager, logistics auditor, and aircraft maintainer.
