Colonel, US Air Force & Industry Executive (Retired)

Colonel Pete Kimple, USAF (Ret), has over 40 years of acquisition and project management experience supporting the US Air Force (USAF) and industry and has successfully managed large and sensitive tasks from inception to close out and guided complex organizations through times of dynamic change and growth. He is a recognized planner and change agent, able to identify problems and implement innovative solutions.

Significant Career Accomplishments

  • Directed all aspects of the F-16 fighter aircraft acquisition and support for the governments of Israel, Turkey, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherlands, Norway, Venezuela, Korea, Singapore, Portugal, Greece, and Japan.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the B-2 program, including improvement of internal procedures, total quality management (TQM) system implementation, and using command communication enhancements.
  • Led B-2 engine development and production effort, which was delivered on time, under cost, and met all technical requirements.
  • Through re-engineering, process improvement, and cost reduction, successfully turned around operations at troubled locations of a large, industry organization with complex regulatory and logistics requirements.
