Marc Lindsley

Colonel, US Air Force & Industry Executive (Retired)

Marc Lindsley has over 40 years of experience including 26 years as an aviator; command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) expert; and commander in the US Air Force (USAF), as well as over 15 years in the defense industry. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership, program management, capture, and business development roles for various, major pursuits and programs.

Significant Career Accomplishments

  • Led multiple corporate teams executing major aircraft development to include Leonardo’s multi-national T-X program team—with direct reporting to the Leonardo DRS chief executive officer (CEO)—and Northrop Grumman’s T-X program, in partnership with BAE and L3.
  • Key military leader of the largest unit under a Colonel at HQ USAF. Provided functional and program management of over 380 programs and projects valued at over $5B—and involving $2B+ expenditures annually.
  • Led numerous strategy development teams responsible for developing and advocating USAF policy on imagery intelligence (IMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), measurement and signals intelligence (MASINT), and human intelligence (HUMINT). Represented USAF on ISR matters in discussions with Congress, intelligence community partners, OSD, the joint staff and other services.
  • Operational and tactical level combat expertise as Air Operations Center (AOC) director in USAF and NATO, JSTARS Wing Commander, and F-111 Fighter Squadron Commander.
